Phil is experienced in business development and building strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services and maintaining these strategies in alignment with the organization's sales strategy; developing and maintaining comprehensive lead generation maturation programs; developing and managing marketing operating budgets; developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans; monitoring of competitive products and the development and production of promotional and collateral materials.

He is internet savvy and proficient in SEO/SEM, PPC, CPC, social media, disruptive innovation and online viral marketing. He is an advanced computer user with extended knowledge in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Microsoft Project. Phil was the Executive Director of Marketing for Universal Pictures for over 20 years. He worked on the marketing of over 400 feature films, including; E.T., Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Shindler’s List, The Grinch and A Beautiful Mind. He worked with Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard and other well known Directors, Producers and Advertising agencies. Phil held other executive positions with other companies. Phil has also consulted to several industries and has had several start-ups since the age of 19.

Phil has performed magic at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, California. He is an award-winning underwater photographer, accomplished musician and writer. He is well traveled and considers the pyramids in the southern part of Mexico, Istanbul, Turkey, Corfu Greece and Bora Bora in the Tahitian islands as some of his favorite destinations. He collects American made electric guitars, and his prize possession is a 1965 Martin D-35 Accustical Guitar and a 1968 Fender Stratocaster Guitar, which was recommended by Jimi Hendrix who he met at a guitar store in Hollywood California.

Mr. Shaps has a M.B.A from Denver University; he is a Certified Online Instructor and an Imbound Marketing Consultant. He is a Professor of marketing, business management, consumer behavior, marketing research and social media.
